Cauliflower and Broccoli Gratin with Parmesan

Ingredients
1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
1 medium head of broccoli, cut into florets
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cauliflower and broccoli florets, cooking for about 3 to 4 minutes until just tender. Drain and set aside.
3. In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until warmed through.
4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in half the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
5. In a baking dish, combine the drained cauliflower and broccoli, then pour the cream mixture over the top. Gently mix to combine.
6. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese evenly over the gratin. If desired, add paprika on top for extra flavor and color.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until bubbly and the cheese is golden brown.
8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your healthy and delicious meal.
